Meet Derek!
This attractive boy is the product of a backyard breeder. He is a Papillon, 14lbs and 1 yr old. Derek has lived in a cage his whole life and was not socialized at all. Derek was very unsocial when he 1st came into rescue but has made big strides. He would do best in a quiet home with 1 other dog or as the only dog. He will bark if things are chaotic otherwise he is a quiet boy. Derek is HW negative and is being brought up to date on shots and getting neutered ASAP. He is stunning!
Derek is currently in TN but will be transported to New England for adoption. AAUAR is courtesy listing Derek for Guardian Angels Pet Rescue (GAPR) of Memphis, TN. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate, transport north and a microchip.
*Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than five months) and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
