A family friend has just entered hospice with Stage four cancer. A retired New York City detective, he has no family in town, just a beloved Boxer mixture named DeeDee. His dying wish is for his dog to find a permanent, loving home. DeeDee adores people, but will chase rabbits and cats. She would do best in a home with older kids or adults only. She is house trained, spayed and current with all of her vaccinations. She loves to play and is very well trained. Although she's super precious, she's not great with cats, which is why I can't take her. Our friend is very concerned about dying without DeeDee having a home. He says this is literally the only thing that he cares about. If you can open your home and heart to this wonderful girl, please let me know.<br/>
