About Me ðŸ¾
It all begins:
My love for animals was sparked by my family, but mostly from my great-Aunt. She cared for a lot of animals, mostly strays that she would find homeless or abandoned near her building. She also rescued many from the shelters that were destined to be destroyed. They lived happily in her large enclosed back porch. I called it the "Animal Safe House". She owned a two flat building on the south side of Chicago. Visiting my Aunt was fun because I knew there would be a new cat or dog living there. A typical day at her house when we would stay over: 4 a.m. wake up would consist of lots of mopping, scooping up poop from the cats section, sweeping, laying down fresh newspapers and we would receive some cat licks, cats rubbing up against us, occasional nip (love) and lots of purring.<br/>
