Rodger is a gentle pitbull terrier/Lab retriever mixture who was brought to us as a stray. We believe he's one year old, and he weighs 56 pounds. Rodger did well in his behavioral assessment with our dog trainer, who said he knows "sit," "down," and "shake" with both paws. Because he guarded the rawhides he was given during his testing, our trainer thinks he'll do best in a home without kids younger than 12 yrs old, her standard recommendation for dogs who don't want to share. He likes to play with a tennis ball.
